Line a baking tray (ours was 37 x 25cm) with baking parchment – it's easier to lift the bark out if you leave some parchment overhanging the rim. Melt the dark and milk chocolate in separate heatproof bowls, either in a microwave in 20-second bursts, or over a pan of simmering water ensuring the bowl doesn't touch the water.
